One thing Americans value more than anything else is their personal freedom.  Freedom from mask mandates,  as well as freedom to reject the introduction of viruses into their bodies via vaccinations.  However,  there is a price to pay for freedom: today for example we see a return of Measles,  a disease that was once considered eradicated in the United States.
