The Hot Air Scrubber

Why It Works

I am Warren Jackson, BChE,  Founder,  Immun-O-Aire,  LLC..  I’m an old school Chemical Engineer from the 80’s by way of the University of Delaware.  I learned my trade directly from Dr.  R.L.  Pigford and Dr.  A.B.  Metzner,  both well renowned pioneers in the chemical engineering field.  I also studied under Delaware’s Dr.  Kenneth B.  Bishoff,  chief advisor to the FDA for many years,  where I learned biomedical engineering, including pharmacokinetics.

Furthermore,  I spent 15 years on the ground in chemical plant operations where safety,  environmental stewardship,  and workers’ industrial hygiene are paramount in daily operations,  when performing design changes,  and in construction management.

My background and experience made me well-suited to solve the problem of disease spread indoors by HVAC systems.  In this section you can see the commercial scale-up calculations based on the Germans’ biological UVC light study,  as well as the prototype system being safely constructed,  commissioned,  and tested for three years.

My self-funded R&D project began early during the 2020 pandemic,  with start-up of a prototype Hot Air Scrubber in a Pentecostal worship hall in November,  2021.  Hence,  my system was control tested in real time,  with real people.  The results: the Hot Air Scrubber is reliable,  quiet,  and energy efficient.  Additionally,  even in a challenging charismatic church venue,  it is extremely effective in preventing the spread of disease.  There were zero (0) outbreaks of airborne disease among parishioners,  even as covid restrictions were rolled back.
